Job Title: Industrial Sheet Metal Worker Helper

Malach Metal and Machining is seeking a skilled Industrial Sheet Metal Worker Helper to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal products, ensuring high-quality results and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal product surfaces.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to prepare them for further processing.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in their tasks.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Read and interpret work orders to understand production requirements and deadlines.
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal, following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand, depending on the task's requirements.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • The position requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure high-quality results and accurate work.
