Capital Projects Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Projects Coordinator to join our team at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of capital projects across our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with hotel departments and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Manage and track contractor packages, documentation, reservations, and health & safety protocols
  • Accurately process capital projects invoices and reconcile project budgets
  • Maintain well-organized records of meeting notes, complex spreadsheets, operation & maintenance manuals, and various other hard & digital files
  • Disseminate construction activity reports to hotel departments on a weekly basis
  • Conduct monthly housing and feeding reconciliation to ensure project budgets are properly reconciled with other project costs
Requirements:
  • University/College degree in a related discipline (an asset)
  • Previous supervisory or leadership qualities demonstrated
  • Fundamental accounting and budget management experience
  • Excellent computer skills across all Microsoft Windows applications
  • Ability to quickly learn internet-based computer applications
  • Excellent note-taking and digital archiving skills
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines
