Capital Projects Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Projects Coordinator to join our team at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing capital projects across the hotel, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with hotel departments and contractors to ensure timely and within-budget project completion
  • Assist in gathering supporting information and preparing capital documents, business design briefs, and other project-related materials
  • Manage and track contractor packages, documentation, reservations, and health & safety protocols
  • Accurately process capital projects invoices and reconcile project budgets
  • Maintain well-organized records of meeting notes, complex spreadsheets, operation & maintenance manuals, and various other hard & digital files
Requirements:
  • University/College degree in a related discipline (asset management, engineering, or a related field)
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Excellent computer skills across all Microsoft Windows applications, with the ability to quickly learn internet-based computer applications
  • Familiarity with facilities components and building systems (HVAC, electrical, building exteriors, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
