Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurant Gravenhurst. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food safety standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports, ensuring accurate and timely communication with management and stakeholders.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
