Urinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Urinary Care Specialist to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to clients with incontinence and/or pelvic floor dysfunction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-going nursing care to clients with incontinence and/or pelvic floor dysfunction
- Establish therapeutic relationships with clients and families, liaising and communicating with a range of health care professionals and other resources
- Consult and collaborate with team members/other caregivers in the identification and resolution of client/family care issues
- Participate on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of a recognized Continence Promotion and Management Program or Continence Nurse Certificate or two (2) years' recent continence experience
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family centered model of care
- Broad knowledge of BCCNM's standards for nursing practice
- Broad knowledge of issues/manifestations and treatment of incontinence and/or pelvic floor dysfunction

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $55,900 per year
