We are seeking a skilled BIM & VDC Specialist to join our team. As a BIM & VDC Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and developing BIM models of HVAC duct, piping, and plumbing systems. Your expertise will be utilized to identify interferences with architectural, structural, and other MEP elements. You will also be responsible for file clean-up, title block, and viewport set-up, as well as compiling files for composite coordination, tagging, and dimensioning models and drawings. Additionally, you will produce details and drawings that comply with design criteria, contract requirements, and applicable codes. Your ability to coordinate mechanical and plumbing models with other trade professionals will be essential in this role. Occasional travel to job sites may be required. You will maintain a safe work attitude and encourage the safety of others, especially when present at construction sites. If you have a basic ability to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, specifications, construction standards, layouts, and job-specific requirements, and a working knowledge of AutoCad, Revit, NavisWorks, and Microsoft Office, we encourage you to apply. You will also be familiar with applicable Plumbing and Mechanical building codes and safety laws.
