Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD/Revit/BIM Lead to join our team as a Technology Systems Specialist. This role will provide Revit and AutoCad support for design projects, lead project teams with Revit modelling requirements, and coordinate team assignments and monitor production.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Revit and AutoCad support for design projects;
  2. Lead project teams with Revit modelling requirements, content creation and coordination efforts;
  3. Coordinate team assignments and monitor production;
  4. Manage junior team members, conduct employee reviews and provide training and mentorship;
  5. Develop customised solutions as required;
  6. Creation and management of families for technology systems including ESS, AV, Communications, IM/IT & Structured cabling;
  7. Develop drawings using design information provided from Visio, Bluebeam and CAD including systems line diagrams, floor plans and elevations;
  8. Develop and provide training for junior team members.
Requirements
  1. College/Technical/University Diploma;
  2. 3 - 5 years Revit software design and application experience;
  3. Revit and modelling in MEP, Architectural, Structural;
  4. Revit & design focus in technology systems and devices for Div.27 and Div.28;
  5. Experience working with design markup programs such as Visio, Bluebeam, CAD;
  6. Experience working in a large office or work environment;
  7. Capable with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Excel;
  8. Comfortable working with remote task assignment software programs;
  9. Familiarity and comfort in working in agile sprint based team assignment and organizational structure;
  10. Ability to work with remote enabling technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, Go To Meeting etc.;
  11. Confident with the ability to build strong working relationships;
  12. Energetic, diplomatic, flexible, problem-solving mindset;
  13. Strong organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to take initiative;
  14. Engineering/ Architectural / Construction Industry experience beneficial.
