Anesthesia Care Team Support Specialist

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Anesthesia Assistant to join our team at William Osler Health System. As an integral member of the anesthesia care team, you will work closely with anesthesiologists to provide clinical and technical support in various areas of the hospital.
**Responsibilities**
- Administer anesthetic gases and medications under the direct supervision of an anesthesiologist
- Provide conscious sedation and monitor patients under general anesthesia
- Assist with regional and neuraxial procedures, airway management, and insertion and management of intravenous and arterial lines
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patients' depth of anesthesia
**Requirements**
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Nursing Program
- Completion of the Michener Institute (TMI) Anesthesia Assistant Program or equivalent
- Registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario or the College of Nurses of Ontario required
- Minimum two years current experience in the anesthesia assistant role in an operating room setting
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, Certified Clinical Anesthesia Assistant certification, and pediatric experience
**Benefits and Compensation**
