We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Pricing

Develop and implement menu plans that meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals. Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and competitor activity.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies. Implement cost-saving measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.

Customer Service

Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met. Respond promptly to customer complaints and concerns.

Financial Management

Manage the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Marketing and Promotion

Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness. Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective campaigns and promotions.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.

Skills

Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and other restaurant management software.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours

35 to 40 hours per week.
