Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at A Child's World Family Child Care Services of Niagara.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to children in our care. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
