Early Childhood Assistant

A Child's World Family Child Care Services of Niagara is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Assist in developing and implementing child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Storytelling and Engagement: Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
- Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
- Childcare Support: Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate knowledge of licensing regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Skills: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and ability to multitask.
The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
