Job Title: Director, Corporate Asset Management

At Anishinabek Employment & Training Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Corporate Asset Management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of asset management strategies for our First Nation clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset management plans to ensure the optimal use and maintenance of First Nation infrastructure
  • Collaborate with First Nation leaders and technical staff to identify and prioritize asset management needs
  • Provide technical guidance and support to First Nation communities on asset management best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders to advance asset management initiatives
  • Manage and oversee the development of asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, environmental science, or business administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, infrastructure development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful asset management strategies
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with First Nation leaders, technical staff, and other stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with First Nation communities and organizations
  • Knowledge of Indigenous land claims and self-government agreements
  • Fluency in an Indigenous language
