About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at AV Homes Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and schedule activities, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of construction workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
  • Material Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and ensure that they are delivered to the site in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems promptly, and make recommendations to improve processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in a noisy environment.
