Rapid Transport is seeking a highly skilled Long Distance Freight Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. You will be required to drive a tractor-trailer or other large commercial vehicle to transport goods to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Ensure the safe transportation of goods by following all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Maintain Vehicle: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Deliver Goods: Transport goods to designated locations on time and in good condition.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain regular communication with dispatch and other drivers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid Class 1 driver's license is required.
  • Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record is essential for this position.
  • Commercial Driver's Experience: At least 1 year of experience driving a tractor-trailer or other large commercial vehicle.
  • Knowledge of Logistics: A basic understanding of logistics principles and procedures.
Benefits:
