Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel and residences.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
  • Respond to guest and colleague requests for maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid Alberta Driver's License required.
  • Pool Certification is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel).
  • Basic mechanical ability, including knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and flexible work schedule based on business volume.
