Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at 45006 Yukon Inc. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including commercial buildings, hotels, and rural areas.
