Project Coordinator Specialist

About the Position:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the change management process, including notifications, submissions, and pricing. This role also involves schedule entry and project updates in E2P, monitoring the project schedule, anticipating problems, and notifying the Project Manager accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the change management process, including notifications, submissions, and pricing.
- Enter purchases into e-requestor.
- Update the "Project Updates" section of the company intranet.
- Track all RFI's and approvals to ensure a smooth process.
- Expedite any changes to engineering, detailing, fabrication, and/or erection.
- Attend project kick-off meetings and record meeting minutes.
- Report to the client as needed and required.
- Provide project notifications.
- Review project specifications and track items as needed and required.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience as a Project Coordinator.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Project/MS Office.
- Knowledge of project management software, preferred.
- A team player, who can interrelate and operate effectively with peers and other associates within a collegial, yet demanding, work environment.
- Organizational skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities.
- Highly developed communication skills – both written and oral.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Commercial knowledge; ability to read/review contracts, understand construction financials.
Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Location:Hamilton, ON (Head Office). Travel to project sites is required periodically.
