Job Title: Medical Imaging Technologist

Location: Toronto, ON, CA

Job Type: Casual Part-Time

Salary: $24-$46 per hour (estimated based on industry standards)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at our Toronto Bay Street Care Centre. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting client-centered care by performing medical imaging procedures such as x-rays and bone density scans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform medical imaging procedures according to prescriptions and protocols during business operating hours
  • Act as the Radiation Protection Officer
  • Perform Quality Assurance on a daily basis
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including registering patients, providing procedural explanations, and participating in implementing directives from Accreditation Canada
  • Foster excellent customer service by following up with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff

Requirements:

  • Degree in medical radiology or related field
  • Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Experience in operation of GE Prodigy Bone Densitometry device (asset)
  • Strong professional judgment, organizational skills, and ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
