Your Role:
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing clinical and research scans using magnetic resonance imaging technology. You will ensure that safe screening and scanning practices are followed to prevent hazards related to high magnetic fields. Additionally, you will participate in the training of student technologists.
Requirements:
- CURRENT REGISTRATION WITH THE COLLEGE OF MEDICAL RADIATION & IMAGING TECHNOLOGISTS OF ONTARIO IN THE SPECIALTY OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE
- MEMBER OF THE CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGISTS (PREFERRED)
- PROVIDE VACCINATION RECORDS OR PROOF OF IMMUNITY AGAINST MEASLES, MUMPS, RUBELLA, AND VARICELLA (CHICKEN POX), HEPATITIS B, TETANUS/ DIPHTHERIA/ POLIO
- PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF THE TUBERCULOSIS SKIN TESTING (TWO STEP);
- PROVE HEALTH CANADA-APPROVED COVID-19 VACCINATION REFLECTIVE OF ONTARIO HEALTH'S CURRENT DEFINITION OF BEING FULLY VACCINATED
What We Offer:
A competitive salary ranging from $84 to $51.77 per hour, depending on experience.
