Job Summary:

As a Senior Manager, Cloud Accounting Services, you'll provide solutions to clients for accounting matters and work with them on growth strategies. You'll lead client engagements across various industries and sectors, contribute to new business development, and act as a leader in the business unit and firm.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide solutions to clients for accounting matters and work with them on growth strategies.
  • Lead and execute client engagements across different industries and sectors.
  • Contribute to new business development by understanding all Doane Grant Thornton services and using your credibility in the field.
  • Act as a leader in the business unit, service line, and firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the Cloud Accounting practice strategy.
  • Maximize engagement profitability by effectively utilizing engagement resources.
  • Analyze and review analytical reports and periodic financial statements.
  • Plan and lead teams to ensure that client expectations are exceeded.
  • Supervise and mentor an accounting team, including the review of files.
  • Lead through the coaching and performance management process of the practice by providing ongoing feedback, conducting timely performance reviews, and delivering training to develop team members.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have a CPA designation or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in cloud accounting, public accounting, or related industry.
  • Superior technical expertise in cloud accounting technology, accounting, and tax.
  • A commitment to quality, excellence, and continual professional growth for yourself and those you manage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including exceptional interpersonal skills to earn the trust and confidence of clients and colleagues at all levels and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong management skills, especially in areas of scheduling, organizing, supervising, and multi-team managing.
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented multi-tasker who works equally well independently and collaboratively.
  • A desire to learn and grow, and be an integral part of a high-performing team.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience.
