Job Title: Chief Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Buyer to join our team at Paraffin Store Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for purchasing activities.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate records and efficient storage.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or supply chain management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in database software, spreadsheet, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Working Conditions:

  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Occasional travel required.
