We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Strategist to join our team at Carleton University. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic communications and marketing campaigns to promote the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement integrated digital communications campaigns to support the Faculty's strategic goals.
- Provide strategic communications and marketing advice to the Office of the Dean and units within the Faculty.
- Coordinate the customer relationship management (CRM) system to plan and analyze campaigns.
- Write and proofread content for various stories, social media, promotional, and marketing materials.
- Supervise the Student Content Creator team and provide guidance and training to communications members in the Faculty units.
- Ensure the Faculty maintains graphic and communication standards, producing high-quality materials that convey consistent messaging and accuracy of information.
- University honours degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or English.
- Five years of related communications, marketing, and digital content creation experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- Experience in creating digital campaigns, capturing and editing photography and videography, and conducting analysis for digital communication strategies.
As a Digital Communications Strategist at Carleton University, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development of strategic communications and marketing campaigns that promote the Faculty's goals and objectives.
