About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at Fraser Plastics Ltd. As a key member of our fabrication and maintenance team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing complex industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble mechanical equipment, stationary industrial machinery, and other complex systems, ensuring precise alignment and secure fastening.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair defective machinery parts, perform routine maintenance work, and conduct quality control checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Fabrication and Construction: Construct foundations for machinery, operate machining tools to fabricate parts, and install machinery and equipment.
  • Hoisting and Lifting: Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy loads and machinery.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a noisy environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You must be physically fit and able to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in industrial mechanics and millwrighting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
