About the Role:

This position has been identified as a key role in the provision of supportive care to clients with addictions. As a Client Care Specialist, you will work as a team member with all staff to assist in the delivery of residential services to persons with an addiction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing supportive care to clients, ensuring a safe and secure facility
  • Responding to client requests and communicating effectively with other staff
  • Contributing to a therapeutic environment through interaction with clients
  • Supporting clients to participate in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities
  • Working collaboratively with other health and service providers to maintain a safe and supportive environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations and addiction services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Naloxone Training
