We are seeking an experienced Financial Control Officer to join our team at Fleetex Transport Ltd.

Job Description
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, setting up and administering accounting systems, as well as supervising staff and training them in their roles.
  • They will also be required to prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies, develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedures, and provide financial, business and tax advice.
  • Additionally, the Financial Control Officer will analyze financial documents and reports, examine accounting records, and act as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, with 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be organized and reliable, and have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • They should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
Work Environment
  • The Financial Control Officer will be based in our head office and will work 40 hours per week, with a permanent contract.
  • They will be expected to work independently, but also as part of a team, with regular meetings and communication with other departments.
Salary
  • The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
