Strategic Employment Advisor

This position provides strategic guidance and advice in various areas of employment law, workplace investigations, payroll queries, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
The Strategic Employment Advisor uses system data and partners with internal teams to gather information to support operational teams in making informed decisions that minimize impact on employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting services to management on HR policies and procedures.
- Offer guidance to employees and managers for improved business performance and engagement.
- Investigate internal and external complaints, and employee relations issues up to management level.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide trends and analysis reports to management.
- Develop action plans to comply with local laws and create applicable reports.
- Facilitate and follow up in the performance review process, including coaching towards the right approach for goal deployment, objective setting, self-evaluation, and manager evaluations.
- Drive the performance development process, including succession analysis, development planning, and replacement planning, as well as taking a leading role in talent acquisition for key roles.
- Ensure compensation and benefit programs are administered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the coordination of merit increase process, promotions, market adjustments, and other salary-related needs with senior leaders based on processes, tools, and timing provided.
- Actively identify gaps, propose, and implement changes necessary to cover risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and prior experience in HRIS systems.
- Knowledge and experience with strategic advising on policies, processes, and employment law.
Working Conditions:
General office environment that is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available.
