Physiotherapist - Disability Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at WCB Alberta. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a significant role in a multi-discipline team setting to enhance the rehabilitation experience and outcomes for our clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1 on 1 physical therapy treatment and assessment
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders such as surgeons, claim owners and employers
  • Deliver interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs
  • Complete functional capacity evaluations (FCEs)
  • Services at employer worksites

Your Experience and Skills:

  • A Bachelor's or Masters' Degree in Physical Therapy and eligible for registration with the Physiotherapy Alberta College and Association
  • Preference will be given to those candidates with experience in occupational rehabilitation, orthopedics or sports physiotherapy
  • Computer experience and strong interpersonal skills complemented by well-developed written and verbal communication abilities
  • Reliability and time management skills are integral to your success in this position
  • A valid Alberta Drivers' License and the ability to travel overnight within the province as well as independent travel to complete off-site services is required

Salary: Pay Grade H4M - $79,363.22 to $100,544.74 per annum

In accordance with the Collective Agreement between HSAA and WCB (Millard Health)
