About the Role:

At Lawtons, we are committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations. We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional Pharmacy Assistant to join our team who will make meeting the health needs of our patients their top priority.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry for prescription assembly
  • Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Promote PROfile programs
  • Compounding and pill pack assembly
  • Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
  • Drug order creation and receiving
  • Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
  • BTC management
  • Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, manual third parties

What You'll Bring:

  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate or other Pharmacy Recognized program
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
