We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant II-FT to join our team at Lawtons Drugs in Kentville, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time opportunity that requires excellent customer service skills, ability to multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-centered care, processing prescriptions, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate records. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless customer experiences while adhering to all applicable company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescription assembly, data entry, and process customer transactions
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Promote PROfile programs, compounding, and pill pack assembly
  • Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, and cleaning
  • Drug order creation and receiving, scheduling professional clinical services
  • BTC management and administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, manual third parties
Requirements:
  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate, or other Pharmacy Recognized program
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
