We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Leader in Nursing Education to join our team at Humber College. As a Professor of Nursing, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality nursing education programs that meet the needs of our students and the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum for nursing programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Design and deliver engaging and effective teaching methods, utilizing current pedagogical principles and technologies.
- Assess student progress and achievement, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support student success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain strong links with professional associations and practice settings.
- Supervise work-integrated learning activities, including clinical placements and academic advising.
- Participate in committees and related associations to contribute to the development of nursing education and practice.
- Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Superior interpersonal communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.
- Strong knowledge of current pedagogical principles and technologies.
