Job Responsibilities

Our Bartenders take pride in their extensive knowledge of food, wine, and spirits. They build strong relationships with guests and are often recognized for their exceptional service. They display natural showmanship, have excellent communication skills, and an eye for detail.

The Day-to-Day:

  • You're a pro at creating a welcoming atmosphere and greet each guest warmly and with enthusiasm.
  • You're aware of your surroundings and offer assistance to guests whenever needed.
  • You're enthusiastic about our offerings and share your knowledge to make informed recommendations.
  • You have a strong working knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer and enjoy sharing fun facts about our offerings.
  • You're a team player and respectfully communicate with all staff and managers to ensure a smooth service.
  • You're able to move around the restaurant with focused urgency.
  • You take ownership of your bar and maintain beer keg and liquor levels, take inventory, and assist the manager with inventory ordering.

Requirements

  • SmartServe Certified
  • Proven experience as a bartender for at least 6 months
  • Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, and/or Special Events Program is an asset
  • Wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge is required
  • WSET preferred but not required
  • Passion for food, beverage, and providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to lift and move beer kegs, liquor, and wine boxes
  • Full availability
