Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Ceci Bar. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to guests
  • Prepare and serve beverages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area
  • Build relationships with guests and offer recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service
  • Upsell and promote our menu items and drinks
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning

Requirements

  • SmartServe Certification
  • Proven experience as a bartender for at least 6 months
  • Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage and/or Special Events Program is an asset
  • Wine, beer and cocktail knowledge is required
  • WSET preferred but not required
  • Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to lift and move beer kegs, liquor and wine boxes
  • Full availability
