About the Role:

Ceci Bar, a brand-new beach-inspired retreat, is seeking a skilled Host to create a positive guest experience. As a Host, you will be responsible for managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity, and communicating with all employees to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exude a warm and welcoming presence, in person and over the phone, even under the busiest of circumstances
  • Communicate effectively with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to maintain proper guest flow throughout the restaurant
  • Escort guests to their table, engaging them in friendly conversation
  • Take reservations over the phone and in person with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean and organized front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas
  • Be fully versed in table numbers and maintain awareness of each section in the restaurant
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements:

  • Proven prior experience in a similar position for at least 6 months
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an asset
  • Full availability
