Logistics Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Associate to join our team at Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
About the Role
This is a permanent position working 40 to 44 hours per week. We require a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and one year to less than two years of experience in a related field. The ideal candidate will have a Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand;
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products;
- Maintain professionalism in customer service;
- Keep a record of items received and delivered;
- Follow directions and read maps to navigate routes efficiently;
- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during transport;
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Working Conditions
The ideal candidate should be physically demanding, able to work with tight deadlines, and comfortable working outdoors on foot. Overtime may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities, commission, gratuities, free parking, and on-site amenities. Team building opportunities and career growth prospects make this an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Requirements
