Job Description:

In this role, you will assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, preparing design drawings and specifications, and carrying out limited-range mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials. You will also be responsible for designing tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures, estimating costs and materials, and supervising maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in inspecting mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Prepare design drawings and specifications.
  • Carry out limited-range mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong computer-aided design (CAD) skills, experience with microStation, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, you must have a solid understanding of engineering principles and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
