Natik Projects (2007) Inc. is a complete Mechanical Systems Contractor, actively working in Nunavut. Natik is successively working in both Nunavut and Northwest Territories for over 25 Years. Natik Projects has been continuously working in the Kivalliq and Kitikmeot regions of Nunavut for over 20 years. Natik specializes in constructing, servicing, and maintaining complete mechanical systems which include
- heating, plumbing, HVAC, building control management, fire protection and fuel systems.
**SUMMARY**
The Junior Project Coordinator is responsible for project coordination by assisting in the execution of the plan by maintaining schedules and managing costs.
**Location**: Edmonton, Alberta
**JOB DUTIES**
- Order materials as defined by the estimate/client scope of work and ensure timely delivery of all items
- Assist in coordination of subcontractors to ensure budget, time, and schedule are maintained
- Complete Shop Drawings, Site Instructions, Request for Information Etc.
- Assist in providing detailed information to project team to ensure alignment of plan
- Assist in development of Change Requests
- Coordinate requests for information with client representatives
- Assist in coordination of subcontractors to ensure budget, time, and schedule are maintained
- Various other duties as requested by management
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Education that would be considered beneficial:
- Construction Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
- Mechanical Engineering Technologist (M.E.T.)
- Project Management Professional (P.M.P)
- Any field time in heating, plumbing, HVAC, building control management, fire protection or fuel systems
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role would be considered an asset but not required
**SKILLS**
- Verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong organization skills and detail orientated
- Skilled in utilizing MS Office programs, specifically Excel, word, and outlook
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Self-motivated and assertive
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year
