**Location**: Edmonton, AB

**Work Schedule**: 15 days on and 6 days off, 12-hour shifts

**Base Salary**: $51,168 annual (Bonus $220 per shift or day + Meals + accommodation-camp or hotel).

**Company Overview**: We are a leading staffing company partnering with a Fortune 500 organization in the energy sector. Our client, a global leader in industrial gases and services, is currently seeking a Field Operator to join their team.

**Position: Field Operator**

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate nitrogen or liquid pumping equipment at local base and customer sites.
- Prepare rolling stock equipment and ancillary tools required for tying into customer systems.
- Rig in and pressure test equipment before operating nitrogen or liquid pumping equipment.
- Continuously monitor equipment, safety gauges, and indicator systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Assist in the demobilization and return to base, aiding in equipment maintenance as needed.
- Possess a working knowledge of the service lines and products offered by the company, operating and driving equipment required for service execution.
- Under the supervision of PPS Coordinators and Supervisors, perform necessary tasks to ensure the safe and efficient mobilization of equipment to and from the site.
- Safely rig in and operate PPS equipment on customer sites.
- Ensure accurate documentation of information to on-site supervisory staff
- Collaborate with team members and multi-functional teams to continuously improve work processes.
- Analyze activities, identify problems, and propose corrective measures.
- Operate vehicles safely and report any dangerous situations or accidents promptly to the dispatcher, completing accident reports as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operation of nitrogen equipment, pumpers, and bulkers.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oil refineries, petrochemical plants, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and maintenance within the Oil & Gas Industry, Heavy Industrial, Petrochemical &/or Power Plants.
- Understanding of the execution of Nitrogen services.
- Must hold a Class 1 driver's license with off-road experience and mechanical aptitude.
- Educational background in Civil Engineering Technologist (CET), Mechanical Engineering Technologist (MET), Heavy Equipment Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Technology and Technology Management, Power Engineering Technologist would be strongly preferable.
- Certifications such as CSTS, WHMIS, H2S, TDG are assets.


**Salary**: $51,168.00-$52,000.00 per year
