Job Overview

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is a leading provider of enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Equipment Engineer/Technologist to join our team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to specified work centers in Teledyne MEMS front and back end operational areas, including Lithography, Bonding, CVD/ETCH/Furnaces, Metal, Wet Processing, Dicing, Back End & Assembly.
  • Track tool status via Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Maintain all documentation, including manuals.
  • Sourcing and maintaining tool spares inventory.
  • Create and maintain updating preventative maintenance procedures and data collections.
  • Interface with equipment vendors.
  • Work effectively with operations and engineering teams to address short- and long-term process issues.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior members of the equipment maintenance team.
  • Provide emergency coverage and support as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Relevant technical diploma or bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and chemical systems.
  2. RF systems knowledge is an asset.
  3. Vacuum system knowledge is an asset.
  4. Chemical handling; WHMIS & TDG certification is required.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  7. Excellent communication skills.
  8. Clean room familiarity is an asset.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
