Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Business Analyst/Operations Coordinator to join the Regional Medical Imaging Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to senior leadership, including data analysis, statistical reporting, and benchmarking activities.
  • Offer confidential administrative and secretarial assistance to the Executive Director or Director, as well as senior leadership teams.
  • Maintain leadership appointment calendars, coordinate meetings, and process information flow through the department.
  • Work independently and interface with other Executive Directors, Directors, Managers, and staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively partner with other VCH departments and liaise with external agencies to coordinate information flow.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in a related program.
  • Three to four years' recent experience in a complex healthcare environment with progressively more responsible secretarial and administrative positions.
  • Advanced computer skills in spreadsheet, database, graphics, and word processing programs.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Expertise in using computer software and applications to create analytical reports, documents, and presentations.
  • Ability to efficiently and independently resolve administrative issues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Recognition, inclusion, and support of diversity and indigenous lens.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Diligence and care in maintaining data, records, and budget information.
