Job Title: Head Shipper

Hunter Express Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Shipper to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer equipment and machinery, as well as coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, MS Windows
