Job Title: Head Shipper

Hunter Express Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Shipper to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on shipping and receiving activities.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used in shipping and receiving.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed.
  • Train workers in duties and policies.
  • Arrange training for staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
