We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Dive In Eatery. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 30-35 hours per week. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and possess the ability to work well under pressure. We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this role, you will assist with various tasks related to food preparation, cooking, and cleaning. You will also help maintain a clean and safe working environment, handle customer interactions, and support the overall success of our eatery.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Perform general kitchen duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree or certificate required.
  • Experience: Willingness to learn and train.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
