Dive In Eatery is a fast-paced restaurant seeking a reliable Dishroom Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Job Description
- We are looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area.
- Responsibilities include receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- You will also be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash, sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
- Your duties will involve repetitive tasks such as placing dishes in storage, packaging take-out food, portioning and wrapping foods, and handling and storing cleaning products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- You will be provided with comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
