Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
- Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and guests are aware of hotel facilities and services.
- Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Guest Information: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
- Departure Process: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure accurate and efficient room allocation.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. Temporary employment is available.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
