About the Job:


IBY Restaurant is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all food and beverage services are provided in a safe and efficient manner.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records as required
  • Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving new stock
  • Coordinate events and functions, such as weddings and corporate events

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • 1 to less than 7 months experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • No prior experience necessary, but it's a plus
  • Able to work under pressure and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Certifications: Criminal record check and Basic security clearance
