We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Professional to work in our long term and acute care facilities in the Lion's Head area.

This opportunity offers above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation. Estimated salary: $65-$85 per hour.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice of an RPN.

  • Provide excellent nursing and personal care to residents in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe transfers and discharges.
  • Manage drug supplies, ensure protocols are followed, and assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet resident needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shift times, including 8-12 hours.
  • Ability to float between units and be reliable once availability is given.
