Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Wendy's. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service meets customer expectations.

About the Role

This is a temporary full-time position working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have experience in supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and manage inventory to minimize waste.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare budget estimates and track expenses to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports on performance metrics and operational improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service supervision or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
