Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily financial operations, including reviewing and reporting significant operational/financial variances
- Manage a team of professional accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless month-end close processes
- Monitor and administer company financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency
- Lead special projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement
- Coordinate annual external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing people, with a strong track record of success
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
- Recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) or equivalent relevant years of experience
Preferred Characteristics:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial management, including review of reconciliations and month-end close processes
- University degree in business administration, commerce, economics, or a related field
