As a seasoned professional in aviation supply chain management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective coordination of aircraft engine and auxiliary power unit (APU) Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations with our global supply chain.

About the Role
  • Strategically manage annual spend of approximately $500 million, providing expert supply chain management for our StandardAero Maryville, TN business unit.
  • Coordinate closely with operations and finance leadership to optimize inventory levels and minimize work-in-process (WIP) levels, aligning with production and trade working capital requirements.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics to visualize strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities in materials management.

We are seeking an exceptional Supply Chain Manager to lead our team in delivering excellence in procurement, inventory optimization, and supply chain logistics. As a key member of our management team, you will contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, goal-setting, and outcomes realization.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure timely availability of required materials, components, sub-assemblies, engines, tools, equipment, and staffing levels to meet repair and overhaul production plans.
  2. Promote supplier development programs, pursue strategic supplier relationships, and foster partnerships to achieve best value for purchasing spend.
  3. Participate in developing, amending, and issuing supply chain policies and procedures for the business unit.
  4. Maintain accurate records of supply chain measures of performance, reporting trends and promoting improvements.
  5. Review and enhance logistics handling capabilities to meet customer requirements.
  6. Manage surplus stock disposal and aged inventory review processes.
  7. Exercise authority over hiring, training, career development, performance appraisal, salary adjustments, promotion, discipline, health, safety, and employee relations within the supply chain team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required.
  • Recognized purchasing, planning, and inventory control certification (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM).
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, organizational, analytical, negotiation, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP), supply/demand planning, procurement, production planning, inventory optimization, financial, and business control systems.
