Project Coordinator Job Description

Wildstone Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects by providing administrative support, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Setup: Assist in setting up project files, creating project directories, and establishing project billing and cost accounting systems.
  • Contract Management: Support the contract management process by reviewing and processing invoices, progress claims, and documents.
  • Procurement: Assist in procuring materials and equipment, and coordinate the RFI process.
  • Project Close Out: Prepare warranty packages, collect warranty and O&M manuals, and create turnover documents.
  • Core Values: Demonstrate a culture of accountability, interact effectively with team members, and establish trust within the company community.
Requirements:
  • Communication: Confidently interact with key contacts in verbal, written, and electronic form.
  • Experience: Minimum years of experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry, with knowledge of project setup, subcontract management, change orders, RFIs, lien holdback, and closeout.
  • Education: EIT designation in civil or mechanical engineering, or equivalent education and field experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer background, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and scheduling software. Working knowledge of Procore and Bluebeam an asset.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems based on clearly defined procedures.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to work cooperatively with others to achieve team goals and objectives.
